Phase 1: Import your catalogue
OptionalBring your existing product data into FurnitureConnect's PIM. There are several ways to do this:
- Bulk image upload — Drag and drop product images, upload ZIP files, or use folder structures. The system automatically organises them by product.
- Product data import — Import product names, descriptions, dimensions, materials, and other attributes via CSV or manual entry.
- Brand & collection structure — Set up your brands, collections, finishes, and materials to organise your catalogue the way your team works.

Phase 2: Generate your imagery
Day 1With your catalogue imported, start generating AI-powered lifestyle imagery using the AI Studio:
- Room staging — Place products in photorealistic room scenes. Choose from preset styles or describe your own.
- Batch processing — Generate images for dozens of products at once. Queue up a full collection and let it run.
- Product highlights — Generate annotated images that call out key features, materials, and dimensions.
- Carousels— Create multi-image sets ready for marketplace listings and social media.
- Upscaling & cleanup — Enhance existing images to 4K resolution. Remove backgrounds. Fix perspective.
Start with your highest-priority products and work outward. Most teams process their first full collection within a day.
Phase 3: Publish & onboard
Day 1-2Get your imagery live and your team up to speed:
- Export to channels — Download images individually, in bulk, or export product listings with imagery attached directly from the PIM.
- Team access — Invite team members to your organisation. Set up roles for ecommerce, marketing, and sales teams.
- Workflow handoff — Document the new process for your team. The typical flow is: product arrives → upload to PIM → generate imagery in Studio → export to channels. This replaces: product arrives → schedule shoot → wait → edit → upload.
- Wind down old processes — Cancel or reduce photography and CGI contracts as your team becomes self-sufficient.

How long does it take to import our catalogue?

What happens to our existing product images?
They stay exactly where they are. FurnitureConnect adds to your existing assets — it doesn't replace them unless you want it to. You can use existing product photos as inputs for AI-generated lifestyle imagery.
